Persons with disabilities in South-East Asia continue to face persistent barriers to the full enjoyment of their human rights, despite the widespread ratification of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) among ASEAN member States. This compilation brings together 802 recommendations issued to 11 South-East Asian countries by UN human rights mechanisms between 2020 and 2025, drawn from 45 official sources across the Universal Periodic Review, UN Treaty Bodies, and UN Special Procedures. By consolidating these recommendations in a single, structured resource, the compilation supports governments, organizations of persons with disabilities (OPDs), National Human Rights Institutions (NHRIs), UN Country Teams and other stakeholders in tracking implementation, identifying recurring gaps, and strengthening rights-based, cross-mechanism follow-up. It is intended as a practical evidence base to national legal harmonization, policy and legislative reform, action planning, programming, advocacy and reporting, and to support more coherent implementation of disability rights commitments across the region.
